Psychosomatic illness?

I don't really know what to write here without making this a really long post.

Basically, I have been feeling physically unwell, on and off, for about 3 months. I have a very long list of symptoms, some of which are occurring every day, some of which have only happened once or twice. The symptoms are very varied but many of them seem to be digestive. There has been a lot of heartburn and a strange taste in my mouth. At one point, I lost my sense of taste altogether for a while.

The symptom which is bothering me most at the moment is very minor and difficult to describe. It is a discomfort in my upper abdomen, but not pain as such. Just a feeling of unease; that something's not right. Hunger doesn't feel the same as it used to, and being full up after eating doesn't feel the same as it used to. It's all just really odd.
There are a number of other symptoms, some of which are not anything to do with digestive system.

Factors which I think are probably relevant:
Emotionally, I feel very flat. I am not feeling sadness or joy; my emotional responses are dulled or non-existent.
My mum is very ill, having been diagnosed with advanced stomach and liver cancer in January.
I have had anxiety in the past, have had CBT and taken ADs.

When I first starting feeling physically unwell, it seemed to start me on a spiral of anxiety about my health. I have Googled so many different conditions over the past few weeks and terrified myself with the possibilities of what could be 'wrong' with me.

I am now so confused as to whether:

a) There is actually something physically wrong with me and that's why I am feeling emotionally flat
b) I am actually depressed and this is causing physical symptoms.

Or both. Or neither.

This has turned into quite a long post after all, and I didn't intend it to be. I just wanted to see if anyone had experienced anything remotely similar.

I also meant to say, I have been to the GP and he didn't seem overly concerned about any of my symptoms.
