Help! I've been on this now for just over3 weeks now and feel no better yet:( now been put on quetiapine too, although I've not managed to get up to the 100 mg they want me on, been on 25 mg for 5 nights, and I have to take diazepram too, 5 mg up to twice aday which isn't doing a lot either:( I was on citalopram for 4-5 years up until dec but then a was bad with depression it was changed to mirtazapine and that didnt work I asked to go back on the citalopram and now the newer version, I just feel so sick all the time, no appetite and terribly agitated, I just don't know how much longer I can go on like this, I've a 2 year old to look after and 2 further older kids 16 and 12, husband out of work and is not at all understanding of this:( I'm so lonely, has anyone else took along time to start to feel any better, the sickness is a major problem as I'm loosing weight over 2 stone, is this the anxiety or the tablets? What ever tablet I'm on I always feel sick? I am struggling so much, have conflicting advice and it's not helping, im trying to reduce the diazepram as I've been told I'm addicted but I can't seem to mange is this because i'am addicted and that the quetiapine hasn't been reached to the dose they want yet? any advice please I'm I'm a mess:( x

Hi there, a belated reply I know, but have been reading a few of your posts about your medication. Just a question, have you looked at a website called Anxiety No More by Paul David ? Take a look, it's very helpful for anxiety and explains everything, he also has a facebook page. He's a genuine guy and understands anxiety. Has helped me a lot, although I am suffering with intrusive thoughts, not physical symptoms really. i came off fluoxetine and I do think med are not the answer to anxiety, but that's just my opinion. Hope you are feeling better.
