Does anybody have experienced coming off Paroxetine?
I've been taking 10mg a day, for the past 5 months after a very hard time.
It's helping an awful lot, but as I'm feeling stronger I wonder if maybe its the right time to stop it?
Ive googled it and the coming off stories are very scary!
If someone can give me advice on this I would be very grateful..

I have missed a few doses and it makes me dizzy and gives me headaches but you are on quite a small dose and have not been taking it long so your withdrawal shouldn't be too bad. Speak to your gp about coming off it.

My GP says you should stay on for a couple of years once you feel well. I have gone down from 40mg to 20mg without incident, but started getting side effects when I went down to 10, so just sitting on the 20 for now. I will re-evaluate in 6 months. Have you addressed the issues that led you to take them in the first place? If you have then I'm sure your GP would be happy for you to wean off them.

Try liquid form and very very slowly lower dose over a period of time.

If I forget to take mine then I have weird dreams, but that's about it. I've come off them a couple of times, but am on maintenance dose of 20 mg and that suits me.

Thank you so much for your replies.
I've been taking the liquid form, and will speak to the doctor about lowing the dose.
After almost six months on t I still sometimes have palpitations and find it difficult to sleep, but then you can never be sure if you're having it because of the situation itself or because of the add..
