Writing a list

This is something I go on about a fair bit, and Dr Phil Hammond has just said the same thing on Countdown. Apparently we only remember about 15% of what we want to say and the same amount of what the doctor says.

It appears even I'm right on occasion. :o

I think you are right quite a lot of the time NicholasTeakozy!
My worst used to be, not remembering how often to take the dosage. It used not to be always written on the bottle or package, and I'd end up having to ring up the surgery to ask them again Shock
Now I come out of the doctors, sit in the waiting room or go straight to my car,and write down everything the GP said that I can remember.Did it this morning.

oh, what a clever idea, amillionyears. I also agree that NicholasTeakozy is fishing for compliments Wink right quite a lot, and very helpful and kind about it.

NicholasTeakozy · 30/06/2012 16:10

Thanks Muddy Wink. How are you today?

Thanks to you too Amillion, and that idea of yours is a belter too.

He did say something similar, which was to go in with a list and leave with another.

I'm better than I was yesterday, Nicholas, thanks for asking.

NicholasTeakozy · 30/06/2012 23:15

I'm glad to hear it Muddy. I do think about you lot on the other thread we're both on, and genuinely hope your collective silence means you're all ok. I am a worrier though.

Sorry to worry you Blush

I've been quiet for a variety of reasons, sometimes because I have nothing to say, sometimes because I'm anxious about whether I SHOULD say anything if that makes sense...

NicholasTeakozy · 02/07/2012 00:35

Don't apologise Muddy, there's no need.

If you want to say something, do so. Let me know where so I can read and reply. You know I'll try to help if I can.
