Hello all.

My dh is having trouble coping with my PND. I have been to my GP who was lovely and has put me on Sertraline and referred me to someone psychiatric-y.

Thing is dh has no idea what's going on. He knows, but doesn't understand iyswim. He's not a big reader so books are no good.

Does anyone know of any phone lines/websites?

I want to avoid such "helpful" remarks as "FFS, Queefer, what's your problem" and "Other Mums can do it, why can't you!?" Hmm

TIA, my lovelies.

Hi Queefer sorry you are both having a hard time. I just googled 'postnatal depression partner support' and a few things like this popped up - any help? No time to look for a proper phone line for you as domestic drudgery hanging up laundry calls and must be done before baby wakes up!

That looks great ginger, thanks.

My laptop is knackered atm, and whenever i google i get a site advertising sex in bristol!Confused

Laundry done!

This looks quite good.

Where in the country are you? Have found a couple of support groups but don't want to bombard you with useless crap impractical suggestions :)

PM me if you don't want to say on the board!

Ooh thank you, ginger.Smile

We are in Hampshire. I may ask the GP when I see him again in a couple of weeks.

I will show DH those pages when he gets in. I feel bad, because he does all the suggested stuff, but I'm still a miserable wench.Sad
