When should we expect to receive the invoice? And how do we get a password for the online shop?

Thanks!

Our first invoice came through a couple of days ago (for the deposit for a production). I assume they are send them out in batches, but may be worth chasing if you’ve not received anything yet?

Thanks, I've sent them an email.

The final day to accept offers was only yesterday, so it may be that they're all still coming through.

Beedybong · 05/03/2026 22:11

Aha! Turns out husband received the invoice yesterday, but didn't mention it or do anything with it as most of the rest of the emails had come to both of us. So I've now paid it.

RubyRosa · 06/03/2026 11:25

Hello, slightly different topic here, but I noticed a few people mentioning NYT. I just wondered if anyone has had DC who have done the online recall and could offer any advice/tips.

Particularly, wondering about framing - is the recall standard self tape head and upper body or a wide shot?

Would love to hear about people's experience of it. DC is very young, first time auditioning for NYT and it's her absolute dream to train / perform with them.

yodaforpresident · 06/03/2026 14:29

DD did the online recall and she just logged in from her computer and stood up to perform her monologue. It's live so they can direct you if they can't see you well enough.

She really enjoyed the recall and was successful in getting a place (she was 14 when she auditioned). Her auditioner? was really friendly and happy to answer any questions that she had.

idriveaVauxhallZafira · 08/03/2026 12:41

We're still awaiting second casting by end of March for BYMT and I'm keeping August open just in case. I know when we booked our audition they asked about availability during X-Y dates and I know I provided her availability, but I can't see the relevant dates any more.

I'm looking to book tix to a west end show in August but obviously don't want to do anything that could conflict (sods law). Does anyone know the dates in August for BYMT please? thank you!!

They were advertising for more musicians yesterday in certain specific instruments.

doesanybodyhaveamap · 11/03/2026 10:22

@Comefromawayyes we saw (DC was in the post 🤣). I’m hoping this means they’ve mapped everyone that’s already applied to shows. 🤞🏻

Did you see the NYMT insta about additional male ensemble required for WSS? I wonder if they are putting another call out because there were not enough people auditioning or because they didn’t have enough suitable people?
Also said if you cannot make every rehearsal date, it doesn’t matter ……..

Mcmumager · 13/03/2026 12:04

I did think this might happen for sharks. NYMT are trying to do the right thing and cast with the appropriate ethnicity. I would expect they just didn’t get the right people in the room. If there is a slight clash they might be able to accommodate I guess for the right people as the shark boys will have less to do than say the jet boys so they could maybe schedule rehearsals accordingly.

Truetoself · 13/03/2026 18:42

@Mcmumagerin this day and age mainstream theater is so not “ethnicity appropriate” because I guess otherwise majority of the characters will be white?

seventwelve25 · 13/03/2026 20:06

Yes, and I guess a lot of the time ethnicity really makes no odds, but is fairly crucial to the story line for WSS

seventwelve25 · 13/03/2026 20:28

On another note, it's been lovely seeing posts on Instagram with news of all the assistant creatives. Dd has mentioned that in the future she might like to try to Assistant choreographer. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of the process? Also, just curious as to whether the fees are the same as a performer for a show (I'm assuming so as the same amount of time?). And the competition?! This would be a fair way off for us as dd is only 13 at the moment, but it would be interesting to know!

Comefromaway · 13/03/2026 22:08

Yes, fees are the same except I think they are cheaper for designers as they don’t do Easter

Mcmumager · 13/03/2026 23:18

The assistant choreographer applicants were at the recall auditions. I think for the show they applied for they assisted. Lots of great applicants. No idea on numbers v places but know of some who hoped for one show but offered another they were delighted to get.

DMEAmum · 14/03/2026 11:29

i believe the application process for creatives is similar to the tech pathway. They had a joint zoom call where Chris and Jordan talked them through the opportunities available, and coached on how to put together a CV and supporting letter. They then went away and prepped/submitted those documents. For technical there was then an individual zoom interview with Jordan. Creatives were called in to take part at the actor recall sessions in Feb.

Are musicians still waiting on tenterhooks for outcomes???

doesanybodyhaveamap · 14/03/2026 12:45

Yep, still waiting!
