If I do

7 mins of bike
12 mins of running
10 mins of cross trainer or 1k of rowing

(I'm pink prawn, sweating and totally out of breath after this but I'm not fit so it's easy to get out of breath for me)

15 x 3 reps of inner thigh weights
15 x 3 reps of outer thigh weights

And then 15 mins of swimming fast crawl every day,

will I lose weight?

And should I do weights before running/bike/cross trainer/ rowing?

I'm tired of being a chubber and putting it down to baby weight when my ds2 was born six months ago.

depends what you eat of course.

do your cardio warm ups before weights. but once you're warmed up you can mix up the cardio and weights.

weight loss is dependant onwhat you eat mostly. but you may find that as you do more andmore excercise, your appetite decreases, or that you are simply eating healthier things. also, toning up, whilst still being chubby, will make you look better.

as for still being chubby with six month old, there is an old saying, which i think is very true, 'it took nine months to put on, so that much to take off too' , personally i didnt start losing the weigh ttill youngest was four years old.
good luck

IME you need to build a bit of lean muscle to lose weight as muscle burns food up faster than fat does.

That way you can have your cake and eat it. No need for diets that way.

But, in answer to your question then as long as you eat sensibly that exercise will get you started.

good luck

Agree with Meglet, weight training is seriously under rated and can have a huge effect not only on your metabolism but also on the way your body looks.

When you do cardio, try and do interval training for example jog for a minute, sprint for a minute, rather than just going at a steady pace for the full 12 minutes.

When you are doing your weights, don't rest for too long between sets, the idea is to give the muscles a brief rest for say 60 seconds and then do the next set, this way you keep your heart rate up. Also make sure you are lifting a heavy enough weight, many women use weights which are far too light for them!

Oh, and really agree with the fact that it takes at least 9 months for your body to recover from having a baby.
