And if so, how do you keep the proper lean? Am perplexed.

It's a form of running which claims to eliminate injury if done correctly. Instead of relying heavily on power and the legs, it relies on running from the core of the bodies and leaning forward from the ankles so that gravity pulls you forward automatically, rather than you stomping forward with your legs.

I'm reading about it, but have no idea how to actually do it in practice.

sounds hilarious!

Also uses principles of Tai Chi

Apparantly it works but I just want to know how to do it. Am well up for no injury running...

sounds like you use pilates techniques while running.

HerBeatitude · 02/04/2010 15:37

Yes there's another thing called core running which is vaguely related I think. Sounds v. pilates-ish, core 'n all.

I'll let you know, I've ordered the book, apparently it makes you faster as well, which would be great!!

racmac · 16/04/2010 07:20

Did you get the book? Whats its all about then?

TutTutter · 16/04/2010 16:25

i tried it in intervals - was suggested by the physio that treated my torn calf muscle

felt very odd - i doubt i'll try it again tbh

LittlePushka · 16/04/2010 23:02

TutTutter....would you come and talk to me about your calf muscles/physio? If you would, I will start a new thread you can fin in Sport & Exercise.
