Fitness trackers/smart watches

Hi, I need to replace my Apple watch. After years of wearing Apple I want something with a better battery life so have been looking at a couple of the Garmins. (Vivoactive, and Venu 3.) I want to track my swims, gym classes, walks etc as well as general health tracking and sleep tracking.

What are your recommendations please?

Garmin can take a bit of getting used to. I’m not familiar with the one you have but what I did when mine came was watch a bunch of you tube videos explaining all the features and how to use them.

Thanks, have had a look at some of those.

One of the things that bothers me about it is that it doesn't appear to measure my heart rate accurately during swims, which leads to a lower calorie burn. Bit annoying.

I don't think any of the watches are that accurate without a chest strap. But the Venu 4 is meant to be pretty decent.

I am trying to decide between the Venu 4 and the Forerunner 570 currently. The Venu 4 is cheaper and has a built-in torch. But I wonder if I'd prefer to keep a more standard running watch. I have a 245 at the moment which I use for runs, rides and walks.
