Best low impact home cardio machine for a bedroom setup?

I would like to do approx 15 mins of cardio before starting my day - I have bpd and it really helps me feel calm for the rest of the day.

I also have pelvic organ prolapses, and am advised not to run (or do a high impact workout from youtube etc). Walking does not hit the cardio spot, I need to be out of breath. My gym is 20 mins away and sometimes I just can't get there until later in the day, if at all - besides, I prefer the weights and resistance machines there.

so.... which cardio machine is easiest and best to go in my (large) bedroom? I have room for just about anything, but obviously more compact would be preferable. Not a treadmill.

What does anyone else have for home cardio and do you recommend?

an elliptical trainer might fir you bill.
low(ish) impact but good cardio.

Get an elliptical or a stair master. Low impact, great cardio and your bum will never have looked better

Thanks, I am thinking of a elliptical. It is a big indulgence really, but it could massively improve my life

Rowing machine?

How about a spin bike? Lots of free classes of varying lengths on YouTube. Surprising how much of a sweat you can work up in 15 minutes.

Yes a bike would be much smaller and lighter to be upstairs wouldn't it.....
And they do appear to be cheaper

I'd go for a spin bike. You could look at Peloton if money isn't an issue, or for a budget option any spin bike to use with the Peloton app which would be about £25 a month plus the cost of the bike, there are tons of shorter classes available.

Or just use youtube, or make yourself some good playlists and do it yourself maybe with an intervals timer.

If you have the money and space then stair master would be my choice. The cardio kick from them is incredible. I wish I could trade my husband in for one!

Do you need a big machine? What about a rebounder? I love mine, 15 minutes in the morning is an absolute joy. I then do 15 mins of weights using dumbbells and stretch bands etc

I know it’s not a cardio machine, but what about something like just a 12/14kg kettle bell. You could work out a 15/20 min routine?

When I go to the gym I do a 20min kettle bell circuit and if the KB is heavy enough it really gets my heart rate up.
