Strength training recommendations please

Hi. Can anyone recommend an online strength training programme please (either free or paid), or talk me through the merits of the various people offering this please? I'm mid 40's and not brand new to strength training, would just like to try a new trainer. Am thinking of a free trial with Caroline Girvan. Does anyone have opinions (good or bad) about her please? Thank you.

I follow Lift with Cee on YouTube. She has lots of free workouts. I didn't care for Caroline Girvan, but I know others love her.

I like MegSquats programme, Stronger by the Day. I use it when I'm travelling and so not working with an in-person PT.

The other one I've heard really good things about - but haven't tried - is Rachel Henley's app "Bits". She's hilarious on Instagram & YouTube, but also really knowledgeable & down to earth.

I use CG sometimes but she is pretty hardcore.

I prefer Bodyfit by Amy for a regular workout.

I used HasFit during Covid.

I've just got weights at home and have a programme I worked out with a PT and do on my own. Nothing complex - deadlifts, chest press, flies, bicep curls, tricep dips, squats, lunges. Couple of dumbbells and a barbell, and a selection of cast iron weights. They'll last forever. I find I effortlessly deadlift 30-40kg so periodically check in with this PT to readjust my routine, adding in more weight as I get stronger

I use the Ladder app/programme. Annoyingly only on iPhone but v good lifting programmes - you do a quiz at the beginning to assess the best programme for your needs. It’s £14.99 a month. I used to use Megsquats as above which is also v good but ladder has in ear coaching for each exercise (as well as integrated warm up and cool down) which I really like. You do need access to a gym though.

Kayleigh Cohen, she huffs and puffs and makes me feel better because although she is probably super fit and lifting much heavier than I ever could, she makes it sound like it’s as hard work for her as it is for me. Plus most of her workouts are ‘no repeat’ so it keeps the interest level up
edited to add: sorry I didn’t check whether this is for gym work or home, I do these at home with free weights

I like the Sweat app- Kayla Itsinies does a strength at home program which I’m going to try when I’ve finished Barre Strength

I tried CG but was too difficult for me. Someone recommended growingananas on youtube and it is the right level for me.
