Walking pad/treadmill recs

Looking for recommendations for a walking pad or treadmill to use in the living room whilst baby naps. Budget is about £200 and need it to be easily packed away after use. I’ll primarily use it for walking whilst I build up my stamina but potentially for a little jog too once I’m feeling more fit.

Fundamentally, you can either have a walking pad or a running pad. If you run a jogging treadmill at the low speed required for walking, you burn the motor out. Most walking pads do not go fast enough for running (usually max 6mph) and are much lighter so can't really take the hits.

They are fairly hard to pack away unless you have a handy sofa or bed to stow them under. If you do, then it's really easy if you get one with little wheels.

I got a citysport fitness walker from Amazon think I was about £200 it’s been brilliant goes fast enough for a light jog and slow enough for my daughter to have a go (has to do every mummy does faze) light enough for me to move by myself from room to room. It’s flat enough to store behind a sofa or under the bed

Or save money put baby in pram and go for walk. Fresh air helps babies sleep

Honestly, don't waste your money. Put the baby in their pram and go for a walk, as a pp said.
Walking pads and treadmills are totally different things. If you want a treadmill to run on, you're talking something big, expensive, and not easily packed away...so wouldn't fit your brief.

Those little walking pads don't do the job, and cheap treadmills are generally awful as the calibration is totally unreliable (I ran on one once that was telling me I was doing 12 min miles when I know I was doing around 7 min miles!!).

I really like my walking pad - I work a lot from home and it helps my back. I'm not using it to lose weight or train for a marathon, just to get up out of my chair. I walk about 10 miles a day on it.

OP, I didn't mean to tell you not to buy anything, just that there are two different types of motor. For the brand, I've had a few different ones and they all seem basically the same. The one I've got right now I cannot recommend as you can only turn it on with an app. I don't want an app, I just want a button. Go with @Singlemomofthree 's one!
