So when dressed it looks ok - 5ft 7- 9 stone size 10 but without clothes although I’m slim I’m wobbly around tummy, and wobbly inner thighs and bum merging into legs !! I know I don’t need to lose weight as will look too gaunt but what exercise without going to a gym. My job is active I walk at least 15000 steps a day often more / eat very healthily but have food noise and work in food industry so often snack on nuts or toast and peanut butter I think because I try to eat too healthily and low carb in the day- every day that’s the plan - by time it’s dinner and I pretty much always have dark chocolate after dinner ! Home exercise advice for busy working person - or do I just have to see it that this my body shape now post menopause! My current breakfast is 5% Greek yogurt berries and homemade tahini granola then lunch Salad boys and hummus / falafel etc plus a biscuit or chocolate rice cake - dinner salmon rice and veg or pasta (I’m pescatarian) do I just need more self discipline !! Incidentally not very flexible and knees hurt of I do too many squats !!

Caroline Girvan on YouTube. Start with the beginner workouts. Don’t be intimidated by her muscles: the workouts are fun, varied and really, really effective.

Women your (our) age need to do cardio, strength training (weights) and something involving flexibility like yoga or pilates. Your knees hurt because your ligaments are weak caused by dropping oestrogen levels.

Yoga has made a massive difference to my shape. It doesn't happen overnight though.

Pilates is the only thing (well also turmeric) that helps my aging knees. Lottie Murphy has loads of videos on YT, from beginner to advanced. It will improve your posture, flexibility and improve your fat: muscle ratio, which improves the wobble.

Start with something like yoga or Pilates to get your posture and basic core strength going

and then build to more weight bearing exercise
if you haven’t done anything like it before then get a trainer / join a class like body pump - help you get good form and work within your bodies range

skip Caroline in the first instance if you have knee trouble as she loves a lunge which can be very hard on the knee - Amy body fit might be a better YouTube

if weights isn’t quite your thing once you have sone basic form and some strength you can look towards exercise that will be beneficial and enjoyable

You can do Les Mills classes online for around £12 a month. They have all sorts of exercise classes, including body pump (high repetition/lower weights training to music), cardio, yoga and Pilates based and some aimed specifically at older people starting exercise.
