I'll be 39 in a couple of weeks and honestly feel like I am the fittest I have ever been! This is due to a big shift in diet and uptick in exercise classes during the last year. I will have some birthday money to spend and would like to get some fresh new gym clothes so I am looking for some good recommendations. Currently have a couple of Sweaty Betty sports bras purchased in sales as im a D and lots of my classes are jumping about, total game changer so would buy another but curious for anything similar but cheaper. I really like Mondetta leggings for the softness but what's important is a good legging that tucks in the tummy / high waist. I prefer sports vests of the super light material as I sweat a lot but generally open to any suggestions. Thank you!

Honestly the best leggings and tops I've found have been the M&S Goodmove range. Fits incredibly well, keeps everything in, high performance... and priced well.

I use their stuff now for running, gym, walking and Pilates - I'm practically sponsored by them 😂

Sculpt Activewear for leggings. They're brilliant! They have a tie inside the waist so they don't budge during exercise. They suck you in, too.

Don't pay pull price. They regularly have deals on. I think they might have something like 20% or £20 off a first spend. My personal favourites are the matte black leggings. I could wear them every day!

Sweaty Betty power leggings. I've worn them in XXL from being a size 24 and they are just starting to be a little baggy at a size 20, two years later.

Don't buy full price - look on Vinted.
And if you're shorter - 5"4" or smaller - get the 7/8ths length. Perfect for those of us who are vertically challenged.
