So I'm 44 and perimenopause. I've just looked in the mirror whilst trying holiday clothes on and for really down about my body.

It's really starting to age, my skin is looking really saggy, loose and wobbly.

I have a spare 30 minutes in the morning and maybe a spare 20 in the evening.
Can anyone recommend any full body toning and strength workouts on you tube? Also Pilates or yoga YouTube videos please.

I have some 3kg dumb bells of they will help me.

I've done a Grow by Jo workout today that I liked. I was strength training fairly regularly until an injury (not fitness related) put me out of action so I feel like I'm starting again.

It's called Full Body Dumbbell Workout. It's on YouTube - I'd post a link but they're always really long.

I alternate every day between Caroline Girvan, the girl on the pilates mat (both on you tube) and a 20min run outside (I started c25k running in the spot!). These really work for me.

Thank you @theseriousmoonlight @ThatAgileCoralBird @theseriousmoonlight I will look into these.

I don't really feel confident running outside just yet, I've never ran before but it's something I'm interested in.
I was thinking about getting one of those fold away treadmills to give it ago indoors.

Good on you for this! I am later 40s and run twice a week - park run and a run club for slow runners. I find it hard to get motivated without a commitment. Have got a v cheap gym pass so I can go once a week as I really need to start strength. Not really sure what to do so your thread is helping. Exercise can make you feel so much better, even small amounts…

I do recommend parkrun. Slow runners and walkers - everyone is there

As well as parkrun you could look at the Own Your Menopause app which has beginners strength sessions on it.

If you buy her book you get free access to some programs and a 50% discount on the app.

I've been following Sydney Cummings workouts recently (free on YouTube). She has a range of programmes to choose from; I've also used Chloe Ting in the past (might try her 20 min a day workout ).
