Hi

I posted a while back before my first reformer class, I’m now hooked. I’ve also added in spin and barre classes all at the same studios. Aiming 5 classes a week in total but happy with at least 3 as do work shifts. It’s one of those studios in the dark with neon lights and club like music. They do strength classes too but I’m building up to that. It’s the only type of exercise I’ve got endorphins from, normally exercise just made angry.

Anyway, I previously lost and maintained weight loss but have about a stone further to lose and more importantly it’s fat loss I need to prioritise. When I first lost weight I went from fat to skinny fat so to speak.

I have an active shift working job so my steps on shift are >20k. I’m trying to have an avg steps of 10k. I’m aiming for 1500 cals and 100g protein but have had a lot of work nights out etc so not
perfect.

Has anyone any advice, I want to ensure I’m doing enough variety of exercise for fitness and toning but don’t get on with the gym and am hypermobile so have to be careful. I’m not bothered about massive weight loss, I’m the top end of a healthy weight just now but just want to reduce my % fat to a healthy range.

thanks

Gosh that’s a low daily calorie intake, are you very short / small boned? I’m a mid-boned shortie myself, way less exercise, pushing 50, and average more than that without being overweight. Might you actually need to eat MORE? With an emphasis on whole grains, veg, and protein?
