Hi,
recently I bought a gym membership, and tomorrow will be my first training. Can anyone tell me what should I bring with me to the gym? And what protein powder supplement is the best for begginers?
thank you for your answers! ;)

Hello. Well for the gym, I would wear the right clothing with a jumper on top, have a small towel and a water bottle and that's it. Hair up, bag in the changing room, headphones on. Good luck!

yep - dress appropriately - work out tights or shorts, supportive top, supportive trainers, towel and water. Please wear deodorant and have clean, washed work out gear.

Protein powder not needed at all! If you’re eating a balanced diet you won’t need it as a beginner!

I don't use that sort of thing no. I don't even go to the gym anymore. When I did, when I first joined, they gave me six sessions with one of the trainers and he was excellent. He gave me a 45 minute work out including all sorts of things and I did that religiously for six weeks even tho it was hard. It made a massive difference. But once I got fed up with it, I started off by stretching on the mats, then running 5k, then doing some weight bearing stuff. After a few years I started going to the classes thinking I'd breeze them, but they were really hard and good. Nowadays I am not doing much and need to start again but I do it all at home using a trampoline and kettle bell. Good luck tho, you're going to love it!

I go to classes and wear a good sports bra, supportive pants, sports tshirt and capri length leggings. Remember a water bottle. I dont use protein powders.

A good pair of squat proof leggings! Recommend sweaty Betty power cropped leggings.

Although I'm now a shorts girl. Love the gym shark pocket shorts in black. Not too short and have a phone pocket!

A spare pair of underwear especially if u are getting a bus home or popping to the shop on the way back. Its just more comfy to change.

A good high impact sports bra. U can use high support for everything so saves buying multiple bras for different sports. Just buy a couple of high impacts. Maaree are good. Also love my gymshark high impact sports bra! The gymshark ones definitely lend themselves to being a top on their own so are now my go to.

Baggy tops may make u feel less self conscious but I have since discovered that tighter is better. Loose tops flapping about is really annoying.

Water bottle. A nice big one!

If u are planning on lifting at all or using equipment I'd definitely invest in some gloves too. The handles/bars give u blisters and sweaty hands hinder lifting

And yes to the hoody . U get cold walking home all sweaty.

Sweat towel.

Then be prepared to get addicted buy multiple sets, decide u need a gym bag so you can go before work and shower at the gym...
