Exercise videos that don't have abs at the end

Quite a specific ask but I really struggle with abs and core exercises and so many videos put abs at the end - it really doesn't work for me because I am then tired...

I like nourishmorelove, Madfit, Kayleigh Cohen, Monika fit type videos but they all tend to do this

Are there any instructors or specific videos where the abs are at the beginning or middle?

I would find this better than having to mix and match shorter videos which is what I currently do

I haven't been through all her videos, but I'm really enjoying LaurenFitter on YouTube for her postpartum videos and many of them focus specifically on gentle rehab of the core muscles, so I'd say either find one of hers that works in the right order or maybe do her core videos (e.g. the lose your mommy pooch course) then do your normal videos after (and skip their abs sections)? I'm sure she'll have something suitable though as there's loads of videos in there and the postpartum ones are really for engaging your deep core muscles rather than just "getting abs" so they should help more in the long run.

Bodyfit by amy does videos of all kinds and some of them are three or four sections, each with their own abs section. Hers are not hard for abs though. I find them very doable.

What I am finding at the moment is that I can do most of a video and then it suddenly goes into something really hard at the end like side plank crunches which are beyond me at the moment..

I'll check these out

Are you able to modify the exercise and work up to the full one?

Are you able to modify the exercise and work up to the full one?

That's what I currently do but it's discouraging as I know I could do better if the abs were earlier in the sequence

You do need your core to exercise safely though, I think. Core is usually at the end so it isn't pre-fatigued for the other stuff.

I would do more core not less - do it at the end of every workout and then do some on non-exercise days as well (little and often works well for core - small muscles recover faster) - strength will build. Use easier progressions on the videos, or do something similar you can do for the same amount of time and feel tired at the end, but do something!
