Why do I have flabby arms even though I’m not overweight

I’m a completely normal weight (BMI 22, size 8-10 in most shops). My tummy is flat with abs. I’ve got some meat around my thighs and bum (pear shape) but I don’t mind that. I look great in long sleeved clothes, but I hate wearing short sleeves because my upper arm are inexplicably flabby.

How do I get rid of the arm flab? I can’t realistically lose any more weight, I think I’d waste away. I exercise including weights. When I work out my upper body I tend to gain muscle under the flan, the flab doesn’t shift.

My arms aren’t huge or saggy or anything. I just see other people rocking a sleeveless with toned skinny arms, and mine are just squashy and wobbly.

What do I do to cut the flab?

Honestly I think it's genetics. I have the same arms. All the women in my family do. We have joked it's our good peasant stock coming through. Obviously we were good for working as farmhands and pulling and dragging and fetching and carrying back in the day. Sorry I'm absolutely no help to you but I totally understand.

I think all you can do is build muscle.
Do two upper body sessions a week - one chest, triceps and shoulders and another back and biceps.
Chest exercises will also work your triceps, and back exercises will also work your biceps, but doing it all rather than just arms will keep you in proportion.

Plank is great for this ... building up to a 2 min hold ( I'm nowhere near but trying)

Why do I have enormous calves? Why does somebody else have a huge bum?
Blame your parents!!😆

Seriously though if you are a normal weight and working out then its just one of those things you have to accept. Nobody is perfect!

Lower your reps and increase your weight for all arm and back exercises. I had a similar issue to you. It’s taken months but my arms are toned all around. I do around 6 reps per exercise, and progressively increase weight. The weight should be heavy enough that you reach failure at each set. Rest and then repeat. High reps and lower weight for years did nothing for me.

Can't blame my parents DM didnt have bingo wings. I have been doing Harley Pasternaks 5 for years. It helped very slightly, that's all. I've had 2 frozen shoulders on the right side and that arm is far worse. The only thing I found works, but it is temporary, is over the years, I have taken heavy stuff in a wheel barrow and down our garden, which is 200ft,compost,manure, shingle, they are rock hard and tight, but the bingo wings return the following day. It's the triceps you need to work on. Actually, the paths round the veg plot need more shingle!

No matter how thin I get, at one point to the point of periods stopping and being cold constantly, not being able to sit down long as my pelvis stuck out my bum cheeks.. but my calves never got slim or toned, ankles were thin but just lots of meat on the calves. It's just genetics

My bingo wings arent genetic...they are due to extreme weight loss, like the rest of my loose skin.
I refuse to cover up my arms though. Frankly you see much worse sights out there then my wobbly arm flab!!😆
