Gym headphones - noise cancelling and other questions

Trying to work out what to do about gym headphones.

I know some people use over-ear and I’ve got some really good noise cancelling ones already, but won’t they get really sweaty??

And on noise cancelling, I’ve seen various recommendations for in ear and Shokz headphones, but if you’re in a noisy gym, don’t you find that you have to turn them up quite high if they don’t have noise cancelling?

I really don’t want to spend a lot of money on gym headphones so any advice is welcome. 🙂

The only ones that i find to be truly noise cancelling are Bang &Olufsen but they cost me £450. Otherwise I have to have the cheaper ones turned up high.

If I forget my in-ear ones I take my on-ear noise cancelling ones as I keep them at work and yes they get sweaty Confused

My in-ear ones are Powerbeats with the hook that goes around the top of your ear, they're not noise cancelling but certainly block out enough gym noise for me to be able to listen to and concentrate on a podcast without needing to have them blasting.

Thank you, maybe decent in ear buds are the way to go then.

Its the gym. I get sweaty and just want to work out and listen to my music.

Honestly i have a set of Jlab Go from Currys which cost me £20 (Normally £25 but i got the shitty colour too). They last for months on charge from the case and i can hear my music perfectly well.

Bonus is i dont worry about losing them and no one is going to steal them. Funny how the shitter the gadget the less chance of losing them.
