2024 marathon

Inspired by all the amazing runners yesterday ive completely lost my mind and entered the ballot for next year.
Have been a halfer in the past and that was a few years ago but nothing on this scale.
Anyone else in their 50s thinking they are still in their prime...

I’m in. Didn’t have the biggest buffer and wasn’t super confident but it was enough!

Have you decided on a plan yet @Idratherbepaddleboarding ? I’m still building my base backup and I keep flip flopping as to which plan to go with. I’m running Manchester for Cancer Research, so I think I’ll use their intermediate plan, which is building on a half marathon, and is 16 weeks so starts on Christmas Day!
