Help... Peloton vs. Spin Bike w/ Les Mills membership

I need to make a quick decision. I've found a second hand Peloton bike at a really reasonable price, but obviously it's still a big spend so I am in two minds. So, shall I buy it (and subsequently the Peloton monthly membership too), or should I just buy a good spin bike and get a Les Mills/Peloton/some other membership? Can anyone give me some pros and cons to all options? TIA

Oh and can anyone recommend a decent spin bike?

We have a Keiser but from when these were the spin bike of choice. It's good but doesn't have Bluetooth and isn't much like riding a bike. I was thinking of upgrading to a Bluetooth module and getting Zwift as this is supposed to be great but have yet to try it.

I've used a Watt bike and these are good but is really personal and depends on what you're looking for in a bike.

Have you tried any?

No, I do virtual Les Mills spin classes as my gym, but I'd like the option to do something similar at home when I'm unable to get to the gym. I have been seriously considering Peloton, but now I'm wondering what the benefits to a Peloton are over these other options.
As I'll still be keeping my gym membership for the other things I do there, I need to consider carefully how much I splash out

Bike plus turbo trainer plus Zwift as you can then take the bike off and actually get fresh air!

Personally I'd wait and take your time to decide. I'm sure Peloton are great but could prove a costly mistake if you don't get on with it.

What do they have at your gym?

I have an original A3 spinner which I use with Les Mills and Sufferfest. I have looked at upgrading but I think I can do better than peloton.
If you have a LesMills membership look at Stages bikes, they often have offers on.
Bikes with belt rather than chains will be quieter and smoother; also check that they have spd clips as many don’t.
I have used a Watt bike and they are great but like you , I need to balance bike vs gym membership.
