I’m late 30s, healthy weight but unfit. I haven’t been in a gym since I was about 20.
I’m currently working through the NHS Strength and Flex plan of body weight exercises (alongside Couch 2 5K). I’d like to join a gym and continue to improve my strength but I don’t know where to start. How do I build a routine? With something like a lat pull down machine, how do I know what weight or repetitions to start with?
