Headache after workout?

So recently started working out at the gym, I haven’t been for years but loved it once and starting to love it again.
I’m late thirties, maybe carrying some extra lockdown weight but not loads. Lead a pretty active life with waking / cycling etc but never really exercise to the level I do in the gym ( hot sweaty proper exercise!). So this level is quite new but I can see changes, all good. I’m reasonably strong and fairly fit.
I do lots of cardio, some weights. Drink plenty of water, don’t eat anything particularly different on my gym days.
But after exercising , I always wake the following day with an awful headache?
Anyone else experienced this or know why it could be?

Possibly you might need to replace your electrolytes from sweating? Try having a sports drink afterwards or mixing half a teaspoon of salt and sugar with some fruit juice and water

There was thread about this a couple of months back - worth a read for some advice.

Bit of a random suggestion, but I used up get horrendous headaches after running, and after a while, realised I was drinking milk as I had read that was really good for rehydration. Turns out I am lactose intolerant and the headaches were related to that.

That was a big factor in realising I've got a low tolerance to lactose...

I agree about increasing salt around exercise. I'll have something salty before a run so there's plenty to sweat out.
