Is a vibration plate worth it?

I’m very demotivated to exercise this lockdown and it’s hard to drag myself out even for a walk in this weather. I need low impact exercise (can’t run) and usually swim but obviously that’s not on the cards for some time now.

I’ve been looking at vibration plates and I’m especially drawn to promises of better circulation, reduced cellulite and toning. They aren’t massive pieces of equipment so would be easy to store. I’m hopeful that the novelty might motivate me to actually use it too!

It seems you can pay any amount and I definitely don’t want to invest in a £1000+ Power Plate but have seen ones online for £150-200.

Does anyone use a vibration plate and find it effective? And could you recommend a good one? Thanks!

We had them in our local gym and I never saw anyone use them once the novelty wore off, I’d say waste of money.

Waste of money and also the noise if you are using it at home.
Set yourself 30 mins a day get on youtube try something different each day . There loads of free stuff doesn't;t have to be all jumping and cardio you could do chair based excerise whilst watching tele.

Total waste of money IME. They were a fad at my gym for a bit, but everyone quickly realised they have no effect, and stopped using them.
