Need a specific type of running shoe- can anyone help?

I have either run minimalist/ barefoot for years, but have not run for a while.
I am -I think- a forefoot striker who definitely under pronates.
I have run in Skechers for years as they were lightweight, had a low heel drop and good mid foot cushioning. Sadly my lovely gorun ride 7’s need replacing as my knees need some cushioning now, but Skechers don’t make them anymore.
I have been hunting for a couple of weeks but have no idea what would be similar in weight and midfoot cushioning to the Skechers.
If anyone has any idea of has similar running ‘needs’, I would be very grateful for your inputSmile.

Are you thinking road or fell? For road shoes, I'd suggest the Saucony Kinvara. And zero-drop Inov8 Terraultra for the trails/fells?

I use Saucony Kinvara for road and some Merrells for fells but they don't make them anymore I don't think and I can't remember the exact type. I bought them a long time ago but have only used them recently as my last fell runners fell apart.

Thanks.
I used to run on the downs here, in vibram 5 fingers, but in the end one knee couldn't take the descents so I was forced to go on the roads and bought the skechers, which I absolutely loved.
I think I have I natural forefoot stride. As a teen competing in athletics I couldn't stand the feel of shoes on my feet and always ran bear foot- It must have been the bulky heels which went against my natural gait? I dunno.
I will look up the saucony, thanks

Look at Altras, they have a zero heel drop and do both road and trail shoes.
Or I think Hokas probably suit forefoot runners quite well. I only did a test run in them but definitely felt like it was making me run more on my forefront than i would normally.

I have been doing read watch on the altars and saucony.
If anyone can bear it I have a couple of questions.
Since they are both zero drop with that matter much since my old Skechers are 6mm anyway?
Which shoe is better cushioned?
Thank you🙂
