C25k weekends only

I really want to start c25k, there is no physical way I can manage it during the week. Is it possible to do it at weekends only?

Yes you can.

It means you are doing two runs a week rather than the recommended three, so it'll take you longer. And you might find you need to repeat runs, because of the longer gap. But everyone repeats runs (or whole weeks) sometimes so that doesn't matter in the slightest if it happens quite often for you.

Just keep going and you'll get there!

Thank you! I was wondering if I was setting myself up for failure. I'm prepared to repeat runs, as long as I keep moving!

I think you will find I harder to increase your strength and stamina with such a gap between each session.
I will be honest- I am NOT a morning person, but I get up at five instead of 6:30 since I started C25K in August as it is literally the only way I can find time to run. It has worked.

Definitely. I only run once a week (early Sunday morning) but have been doing it for a few years and can now run 5k in 25-26 minutes. I am 59.

Go for it and good luck!

Without knowing your general fitness, you could try to fit in 2 runs plus an extra walk?

Eg run Saturday AM, Walk for 30 mins Saturday pm or evening, run Sunday...

And try to walk a bit more during the week? Take stairs rather than lift/escalator ?

The key thing is to work to your level of fitness- don't push too hard too soon, and to be consistent - set time aside every weekend

It will probably be harder but should be possible. If it's that you can't physically get out for a run on weekdays, is a home treadmill a possibility? If not, you could still increase your chances of success by doing some strength and flexibility exercises for runners midweek even if just by fitting it into your working day.
