Shoes rubbing little toes

Tbh I'm not sure if it's shoes or if I need better running socks, but my second smallest toe, and to lesser extent the middle one get rubbed just above the toenail when I run. It doesn't quite cause a blister, but it kind of forms a very thick skin, that you can peel off.

I was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue, and if there's a certain type of trainers I should be looking for? I am wearing a size bigger than I normally do, and I have narrowish feet.

Are they Mizuno by any chance? I had a pair I used once and I to throw away.
Ore you lacing them up too tightly?

Shoe fitting is tricky. If you wear Nike, you have to go up a size is shoes ( and I down for clothes) . What type of socks are you wearing? Normal socks might move up and down and slide a bit, whereas specific running or sport sock will not.

Have you been fitted properly? You can also try a variety of lacing techniques, I'll attach a pic :)

Thanks!

@LeGrandBleu I've got Adidas trainers, they are very lightweight but I don't think they are actually running shoes. I've bought them in a hurry last year but really need to replace them now. I was just wondering if anyone had same issues and a particular brand fitted well.

I have running socks, my main issue is I have size 3 feet, so all standard sized sports socks are too big. Mine are called Mile London I think, but I get same issue regardless which ones I wear.

@Brimful thanks! I'll try that, although not entirely sure which category mine fall under...

I think my heel does slide around actually, and maybe that causes for the foot to move forward and then the toes to get rubbed?
