Running clothes

Can anyone recommend anywhere online that sells running tops that are are good length but don't cost a fortune? I'm in the middle of C25K and my winter tops are getting a bit warm, I'm only 5'6 so not majorly tall, just seem to be slightly longer in the body than most t-shirts allow for and I'm self-conscious running enough without the riding up of my top to add to it! I've looked at decathlon but can't see any measurements so hoping someone can help!

Decathlon is definitely your friend here. The baggier-fitting vests, particularly, come up long, and I'm long bodied.
In terms of sizing I'm a size 8 and I'm a small - not an XS - in Decathlon stuff.

When they open online again TK Maxx is good if you're willing to see what they have available.

ASOS also stock a reasonable range of active wear brands (proper sports stuff not just fashion gym clothes).

eBay can also be good if you have the time and inclination to browse.

You could also try some active wear outdoors shops such as Cotswolds or Blacks as they sell t shirts in technical fabrics that tend to sit a bit longer if you check the brands.

DH has a long back and buys Ron Hill and Adidas. He can't comment on the women's fit though. Grin

I also get mine from Decathlon. I’m 5’3’’, so shorter than you, but I find their tops fine and the ones I have don’t ride up which is the main problem I have with tops usually.

Definitely Decathlon but as mentioned above, they tend to come up on the small side primark sizing

However they wash and wear really well and are so affordable.

Agree woth everything @Thigh says. Decathlon kit is cheap, durable, excellent quality and lasts for ages. Much better for doing proper exercise in, too, than the "fashion" brands.

In terms of sizing, I reckon in Decathlon vests/ t shirts a M&S size 10 would be a medium, go for a large if you're a 12 or a XL for a 14. Or thereabouts. As I said upthread, I'm a skinny-ish size 8 with no boobs to speak of, and a S in Decathlon is just right. Their XS is for very tiny people!

My best one is a man's cycling top from Decathalon with a hem that dips at the back and covers my whole bum.

I’m a long bodied 10/12 and have H&M running tops ( and leggings). Mine are very old, before their sizing changed, and a medium.

That's brilliant, thanks everyone! It's so hard not being able to look at things or try things on and obviously I'd rather limit my trips to the post office returning things. Although I think your DH is very selfish @BaronessBomburst and really should have tried the women's as well Grin

I'll have words with him. Wink

I can recommend m and m direct. I ordered two great value running tops with racer backs.

One Adidas and one Asics that came to less than £20.

Good length too.
