Mum tum

So I have decided after a few weeks of feeling sorry for myself, it's time to lose the mum tum. Bit of background info, ds1 nearly 5 and ds2 14 week, was massive both pregnancies, 1st natural delivery, 2nd emergency csection. This has left me with wobbly tum, overhang (particularly with having section) and diastisis recti. I'm also about3 stone heavier than pre children. I don't have much time for the gym (or really want to go there, that would be hell haha) and I'm aware it will take time and bubbas not that old, but I'm fed up of looking in the mirror and feeling disgusting!! Has anyone got any weight loss tips for a busy mummy?

Look up exercises to close up the diastasis recti. Generally core work is a good thing, but some traditional core exercises put pressure on the abdomen and push the diastasis open.

Brisk walking/ C25k tend to be popular cardio for new mums because it is easy to fit in with family life.

Diet makes the biggest difference, but exercise is well worth it as it creates a leaner, stronger foundation. There is likely to be a limit to what you can achieve with a CS overhang and any stretched skin, but being fit, lean and healthy despite what is left feels good.
