Lost a lot of weight but lost bum in process

Hi all

Ive recently lost approx 1.5 stones through diet, this has resulted in me almost completely losing my bum. I'm like a pancake at the back and I dont like it.

What can I do to get some shape back? I have a slight issue with my knee which means I can't do too much that puts pressure on it although I could manage gentle and controlled squats if theyd help?

Thanks

Hi, I had the same problem.

I started doing pilates 20 min video a day for a few months and now I do kettle bell training. I feel a lot better and have a curvier shape.

I follow blogilates and Shelley Darlington on Youtibe.

Weighted hip bridges are good a curvy bum and gentle in your knees

Proper weight lifting like squats and deadlifts, but if you aren’t sure how to do these, get a few PT sessions to make sure you’re safe
Congrats on the weight loss 😊

Sorry further the the above, wouldn’t have to be heavy if your knee is an issue, but you might find they strengthen up the muscles and ease the knee issue too

Did you only lose weight through just a calorie restrictive diet and cardio? If so you have probably lost muscle mass. You need to exercise (weight bearing) and eat more. That should help you regain muscle everywhere

Rowing is good for this

Thank you everyone. I lost weight just by restricting calories so it does make sense that I've lost muscle mass, I'm going to look into all your suggestions.
