sooooooo tight.

They're all pulling on each other and it's unbearable.

I stretch. I do yoga.

I do karate. Lots of walking.

Am an active person.

What else can I do to relieve this awful tightness?

Mine are horrible too. I've always been horribly inflexible despite dancing through my teenage years and getting into yoga in my 20s.

I go to an osteopath each month and it does ease it, but everything tightens up again.

My pelvis had a horrible time in pregnancy and birth with SPD and even though my youngest is 6, it's not 100% settled. Most months it twists itself again, and it's aggravated by heavy digging.

As a runner, it can take me miles to warm up and mobilise well.

Massage?

kingsassassin · 08/08/2019 16:31

Physio. I have a similar thing and it's that I have very lazy glutes so my legs have to put the effort in instead! Lots of squats and bridges helps...

Yes. I had massage every week for months. Didn't really help much.

Is that it then - tight legs and back forever? Some days I can barely walk.

If it's not the hamstrings, then my piriformis muscle starts up.

It's relentless.

See a physio - it could be the most worthwhile money you spend when you have an ongoing set of problems. Specialist sports massage might help too, to complement specific exercises or anything else physio recommends.
