Where do you buy your exercise clothes?

In desperate need of some new kit, have been buying supermarket trousers and tops but it’s all gone and replaced by woolly jumpers! Had a look in JD sports today but 40 quid for a pair of running leggings.... also checked out primark but what a sight! Cheap clearly means thin and looking flabby! Any recommendations for reasonably priced items?

Decathlon, sports direct, Lidl/ Aldi sometimes have decent stock. TK Maxx

Decathlon is good, and very reasonably priced stuff that is actually functional.
I've tried JD sports in the past, but it all seems fashion based, not actual practical clothing for sports.
Sports Direct are OK, but I've ended up buying online for some sport-specific items.
What type of exercise are you looking at doing?

M&S last ages. I like their running leggings as they have a zip pocket for iPhone ( can't run without music ) cheaper ones don't have a pocket. I've only recently discovered putting the iPhone in the back waist band pocket then thread the headphones under running vest and sports bra means the wire doesn't bounce around and ear pieces slip. ( I'm dead chuffed with this discovery. Not sure if I've just been dumb not knowing something everyone else does all the time though )

I love decathlon & YY to Lidl & Aldi, which are quite good quality & wash well. H&M have a good selection but quality is not always consistent. You could also be lucky with tk Maxx. I've also got some nice tksuit bottoms, & workout tops in m& s.

Sports direct- the high street cheap own brands aren’t supportive, I prefer an actual sports brand but cheaper!

I've recently discoveredBluetooth wireless headphones for running/walking etc. they are magnetic & can sit around your neck when not in your ears, genius. Smile

NeeChee · 23/09/2018 08:58

@horseymchorseface I have some too! I have also just discovered Spotify, they have some great play lists.

I know Neechee they are life changing & I think I look very trendy until I catch sight of my lobster coloured face in a shop mirrorBlushI mix it up with Apple Music & podcasts anything to take my mind off the pain/boredom of exercise Smile

Charity shops, Sports Direct, Ebay 2nd hand.

I have just found some 2XU in TKMaxx - so very happy bunny here

I've got a variety of stuff, but have to admit, my absolute favourite stuff comes from Sweaty Betty. It washes well, lasts forever, trousers don't need readjusting all the time, flattering cuts, interesting patterns. But the main thing is the fit. I only buy during sales (I'm on email alerts, so buy the minute the sale starts)

I also like Gap Fit for their designs, but the fit isn't as good. Also very good value when they're offering their 40% off days or whatever.

Thanks ladies, picked up a few cheap items in sports direct, they didn’t have a changing room though so fit isn’t as great as id have liked. Spotted some nice stuff in H&M when I popped in so will go back and try some there.

Basically just running leggings, vests and warm tops I’m after. Whatever is suitable for running, dvds, gym

Peacocks is my go-to for inexpensive running vests. I get my shorts from Sports Direct and Amazon

TK Maxx
