Mummy tummy

I'm 5'6, weight 9stone 9. I'm a very comfortable 10 on top, my hips are slightly bigger, can usually fit a 10 on bottom but it's sometimes a 12.

My tummy is really getting me down. I have this overhanging pouch is the only way to describe it and I have no idea what to do to fix it...I've had 2 children and I know I should be proud of it but I've lost almost 3 stone in weight from changing my diet and exercising and this is the last little hurdle I have that's stopping me wearing more figure hugging dresses/skinny jeans with tops that tuck in etc that I really want to.

Has anyone successfully managed to tone their "mummy tummy"? Do I need to lose more weight? Would swimming help tighten?

Thanks x

Sounds like diastasis recti, give it a Google and there's some good YouTube videos on exercises for it too. Basically you have to rebuild your core strength, slowly and not with things like sit ups, running etc. I was doing some exercises for it and they do have an effect, you just have to keep at it

If you go onto the tough mudder website and into training there is an amazing 7 min abs routine. This really helped reduce my mum tum.

I'm the same. Happy with my figure with exception of my stomach which is wrinkly, overhanging and hideous.

Day to day it's fine as I can hide it with Spanx or tuck it in, but I hate the sight of myself in swimwear. Went to a water park the other day and was asked twice if I was pregnant by the staff. Wish I had the money for a tummy tuck.
