C25k need success stories

I went out for my first "run" today. Didn't do it by the book because I didn't feel able to run a minute Sad(and didn't have a timer anyway). I was quite proud to actually get out, but I'm just so shockingly unfit. I mainly walked and still ended up completely puffed out and scarlet!
Is there anyone else out there who started from a similar very low level with any success stories to give me a bit of hope?!

I'm loving all these stories. I went out again yesterday but found it hard again, and like Tarrarra mentioned I ache after I go out (and I'm rubbish at the breathing). But I'm going to keep going so thanks for the motivation all of you. Smile

My problem is that I have to walk my dog for at least 45 mins a day offlead as she is a lab and if I were to attempt to run, I don't think I will be able to walk the dog ConfusedHmm

vilamoura2003, don't underestimate how adaptable your dog is.

Mine had an off-load 30 minute walk every other day and was a nightmare for pulling on the lead 4 months ago. January I decided to get fit. I bought a halti and a short lead and started road walking - 45 minutes every day initially, building to 3.5-4 miles per day (90 minutes).

Then I decided to start running. Kept the halti, swapped to a long lead that I clipped on your my bumbag. Me and my dog have together done the C25K. Today we ran non-stop for 25 minutes.

The other alternative is to do the 40 minute C25K run and also your 45 minute dog walk every day.
