I started running (well jogging) with couch to 5k and I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed it. However, my ankles, the inside where the sticky out bone is really hurt when I walk now, they're not visibly bruised or swollen but the pain is real on both sides.
I haven't run for a week and the pain is no better, do I need to find another way to keep fit? Has my fatty status crushed my ankles?
Admittedly I have a pair of cheap outdoor running trainers, they fit well. I'm very flat footed and have hyper-mobility so maybe it's that? I was hoping this would strengthen them of anything.
I built up to running by doing the walk at home videos - 3 miles a day to gently get me into it.
