I really want a defined washboard six pack set of abs (probably because I've spent too much time on Pinterest).

Has anyone achieved this? Please tell me how.

I have a flat stomach, but not really any definition to it. Is it an impossible dream?

I don't go to the gym or anything, just run, climb, surf... Can I do things at home to get a six pack?

Not sure that's true you do actually need defined muscles to show a visible six pack just being underweight just looks like being very underweight it doesn't look ripped

But you have to be fit to have and, so an anorexic who did no exercise would not have a six pack no matter how sunny they got, so it is a silly comment.

Ultimately it's a silly thing to want really, i want a very strong core, it shouldn't matter of its visible or not, just that I have it! Not going to lose weight to make it visible, but I might convert fat to muscle to make it more visible.

over if you are a long distance runner (I am too) then the prank 4 ways is great exercise a few times a week for your core and abs. I try and do at least 2 sessions weekly with 4 reps 1 minute front each side and back. I’m 52 so sadly I look skinny rather than ripped with 13% body fat but it’s certainly a big help with running.

I’ve gotshredded abs at the moment and as soon as my comps done they’ll be tucked away under about 14% bf for the colder months. I’m sub 10% currently.
I can relate in a way to you wanting a wash board stomach it looks good however it’s not sustainable for long term and takes a long while chipping away at the body fat. Lifting heavy weights and core muscle training sessions plus calorie deficit gets you there it’s not easy.
Won’t be posting any pictures of me as I’d be outed
