Hi. Recently started the nhs couch to 5k and just completed week 5 yesterday. The 20 min run or very slow jog was a killer!
Need to ask a question though. I woke up this morning with a blister on the top of a toe. Not had one since I was 5 wearing Wellington boots all day.
My running shoes are asics and I did the running test in a shop but this was 7 years ago. The shoes haven't been worn much though and are in really good condition.
Do you think it's my socks causing the blister? I've just been wearing my dd's school white over the ankle type sport socks - same size as me.
Shoes feel fine when on what ever socks I wear although the side where I got the blister does feel a little roomy at the back when I first put them on but I don't notice this once I'm moving.
Do I need new shoes or socks or both or are blisters just to be expected?
