I have been reading some of the threads and am thinking of trying the 30 day shred.
I work in retail and am on my feet and on the move for my whole shift.
My knees ache most of the time.
I also walk the school run and to and from work most days.
Tbh I feel shattered when I get home but the middle age spread is really annoying me. Is the shred suitable or is there something better for someone in my position (prone) Grin

Oh lljkk Ive read some of the swimming threads and got very excited however......I can't swim. On the back of reading the threads I signed up to join the waiting list for adult lessons but I have serious doubts I'd actually go. The pool is at least a 45min walk away. The adult lesson are on a Sunday night at 7.45 or similar.

I taught myself to swim. As an adult. From doggy paddle to front crawl :). There are lots of videos on youtube.

I was trying to think of something not load-bearing. Spinning: you stand up a lot. Indoor rowing: works the legs, though not in a load bearing way. Kettle bells & home exercise vids: seem to mostly require being on feet.

The movement of exercise is much easier on the feet and joints than standing or mooching around. My legs ached far less after a day standing in the classroom after I took up running.
