Long exercise tops?

My workout wardrobe needs a lift and I'm seemingly looking for something that doesn't exist!

I'm after long exercise tops (that cover the bum when wearing leggings), preferably with an open neck (not a crew neck) and preferably with some kind of sleeve.

I'm 5ft 11" so I struggle with finding a good length and don't want to flash my tummy obviously rock hard abs every time I raise my arms!

Can anyone help?

I have the exact same problem!

Long Tall Sally do some nice active wear. It's a bit pricy compared to some places, but the quality is good so it's lasting me ages. I hate constantly having to pull my top down when I'm exercising so it's well worth it for me!

Thank you Captain I shall have a look!

The best long top I found for running was a cheapo tunic dress from a charity shop. I'd look there.

I'm only 5t 4in - I find the Matalan sports tops always come up long on me so may be worth you having a look.

Primark. The tops are called dresses (ffs), but basically it's a long cotton tank top & they may do lycra versions, too. I have had some luck for similar types of tops in sweatshop Sports Direct.

Great thank you all - hadn't thought of looking for dresses. Good shout!

Netball dresses might work for length, but they tend to have a vest shape at the top.

As tank tops are knitted and usually sold in fashion depts, they'd probably be too heavy for much exercise (assuming normal weight wool in cotton) and they'd probably sag. Better to stick to sportswear, unless your sports include golf where Argyll ones are semi-compulsory!
