How to 'sack' PT?

Please help me with a message to get rid of my PT. I've only been with him a short time but I'm not impressed. He wanders into the office while I'm doing the circuit so no encouragement of technique analysis. His organisation is poor e.g. he went away this weekend and neglected to tell me that he couldn't meet (saw it on fb). He says it's because he thought I couldn't make it (I couldn't go the week before). His hear doesn't seem in it although he's obviously knowlegable. Any ideas how to put together a message for him?

TBH, he sounds so awful I don't think it'd be difficult to justify ending your arrangement with him.

What's the notice period on your contract with him?

waitingforlifetostart · 19/06/2017 19:29

There's no notice period but feel it's only fair to tell him I'm leaving.

Have you got block booked sessions with him?

I'd just say,

Hi [useless PT], unfortunately I am unable to continue with our PT sessions. My last session will be XX/XX/XX (as soon as you can get away with contract wise). Thanks, waitingforlifetostart

sorry x post re contract

I've still got 3 sessions paid for but to be honest I don't think I'll be going back.

In that case, just say you need to cancel your arrangement and would be grateful if the unused sessions could be refunded. You don't need to go into the detail of why, if it makes you uncomfortable.
