BMR/TDEE and activity level

Hello,

I've started using mfp again for the last month after a few months off.
I'm 1m70 and 61kg and still want to lose a few kilos.
So far I've been using mfp based on 1200 calories a day, I do a Jillian Michaels workout at least 5x a week (it can be the shred, ripped, or 6w6p).
I am a sahm to a toddler and my workouts are the only exercise I do, any other moving around is just normal every day stuff.
I'd like to properly calculate my bmr and tdee but I'm not sure how to define my activity level, would you see this as light or moderate activity?

Thanks!

Hi Toizzy:)
well it could be either really, why not try one or the other and see how you get on, you can adjust food intake up or down depending on where your weight goes...thats what I tend to do with MFP.

Their calculations are only really a guess/general guide, it probably takes a bit of experimentation to find out how much you need to eat to be in energy balance at any given body weight/ composition?

Thanks for your reply Smile You are probably right, I've been looking up about macros and it seems to be the same there : try out different things and see what suits you best! So I will experiment a bit
