Running is *my* exercise, but....

....will it negatively affect my face? I love running and after a year's break went for a run yesterday and it felt fantastic. I would like to get back into it again and lose half a stone of excess weight in the process.

I am worried about my face 'dropping' though, I have seen this in more than a few runners, could it be the pounding of the pavements and the gravity effect? As I'm approaching my 40th, I really would like to avoid this!

Please reassure me I'm being daft.

They make me cry too but I always go to that bit first :)
(disclaimer: I haven't actually read the book yet so I don't know how many sob-inducing inspirational stories there are but I reckon there'll be a few!)
Hoping to add to the list as about to become ED to a new parkrun starting in April (that will have a very cake-heavy bias)
parkrun rocks :o

I have jowls and I don't run at all. My mom got them too, from her mother (who only played a bit of basketball).

Naicecuppa I haven't noticed the phenomenon of which you speak. I think the act of running has a certain youthfulness about it. And think of the benefits for your organs, your circulatory and respiratory systems - slowing down the ageing process for your innards. Grin
