Hi,

I lost 3 stone last year and joined the gym in October, I am slightly addicted to this exercise stuff and am now doing quite a bit. This is how my week looks

Monday - Zumba
Tues - body pump + 30 mins cardio
Weds - Zumba and bodyfit which is 45 mins of cardio
Thurs - body combat , Zumba and body blast this is another 45 min high impact cardio
Fri / rest day
Sat - spinning and core
Sun- combat and cardio

I also do weights at home 2-3 times a week.

I have noticed a lot of changes in my body and am now at 25% body fat.
What I'm struggling with is food, The last few weeks I've just been so so Hungry.
I am having protein shakes and bars and lots of chicken, eggs etc but I'm struggling.

What do others eat when doing lots of exercise ? I need a wide range of food as so bored with chicken and eggs GrinGrin

Porridge oats (have porridge with fruit and nuts or make your own granola or flapjacks/cereal bars)

Tuna, salmon, mackerel, sardines, fresh or tinned.

Avocado whenever possible Smile

Nut butter (great not just on toast but on sliced apple or a banana as a snack) and raw nuts.

Chickpeas, lentils, peas, instead of starchy carbs or added to soups or made into dips such as houmous. Great as a starter course with dinner?

Full fat Greek yoghurt, feta (delicious with beetroot as a snack or with watermelon and mint) or cottage cheese, with oatcakes.

Hi
I currently do insanity on a Monday, circuits Tuesdays and Wednesdays weights on Thursday boxing on Fridays and gym/swimming at the weekend. I also do two evening classes of fitness and boxing. I eat: porridge, natural yoghurt, eggs, chicken, feta, steak, salmon, cod, lots of soups, sweet potatoes, lots of veg and salad. I have lost a lot if weight and still would like to lose more though so if you are not looking to lose you may need more carbs.

Bloody hell, that's a lot of exercise! How many hours a day are you doing? How do you find time? It might be worth you paying a nutrionist for a plan. I did and it really helped. I 'only' do boxing circuits, pilates, kettlebells and running a few times a week but I found a proper plan really helpful because it was personalised to my lifestyle and it gave me more energy too TressaWil. Do you eat lots of slow releasing low GI foods OP? Things like sweet potato, wholemeal pasta and basmati rice?
