I just entered the Sport Relief (6) Mile.

This will be my first ever run with a number pinned to me.

I'm already regretting it Grin

Well done dizzy!
That is fantastic, you must be knackered!

I swam 2.5 k today in one hour 12 mins and am well and truly knackered I can tell you. Going for a big Sunday lunch now to recuperate. Good luck to everyone doing anything for sport relief. So far I've raised £115 but hope to make more.

DD 8 swam today, she was nervous when we got there as only a few children but she did great swimming 1.5 km in 37 mins. As soon as she got out she asked when was the next one Smile

Well done Thursday!

dizzyday07 · 24/03/2014 11:01

Well done Thursday - that's brilliant. I have started the Couch to 5k programme to try to be able to run!

Holiday - my DD was the same as yours. She wants to up the distance to 2.5k next year!

holidayseeker · 24/03/2014 11:11

Dizzy - it's great how much they enjoy it isn't it. I hope it continues as I would love for her to stay fit and active throughout her teenage years as we'll.

DD also wants to go for 2.5k next year.

Thank you!
I'm v pleased for both your DDs too, they must have really enjoyed it! We had a lovely atmosphere at the run, cheering other runners on and the sun came out too Grin
I envy anyone that can swim proficiently.
C25k comes v highly recommended I believe

I've got the couch to 5 k app on my phone and I've just started it about three weeks ago. Very good app I recommend it.
