Do any of you run with a buggy (with baby in it obviously!)?

Being realistic if I want to run any Half MArathons this year I am going to have to consider having DD with me for my long runs.

That in mind im considering getting a running buggy off ebay or something but not sure which ones are best? A lot of pushchairs are described as 'joggers' but im unsure whether this just means that they have three wheels- not that they are ideal for jogging with?

any recommendations?

I go running with my icandy peach jogger. Can't compare it to anything else but I love it!

I run with a Nipper 360, or did when dd was compliant, but she is now 2.3 and wants to walk everywhere. She is huge too!

I have also run with a Phil and Teds Sport, trained for 10ks with ds as a baby.

I run with a nipper as well, with the front wheel locked. DD2 is a bit big now though, but it's a good workout!

The old 'Instep nipper' (previous version of the Out N About Nipper) can be a good buy....they aren't as popular as the new version as the front wheel doesn't swivel, but that's actually often better for running as a swivel wheel can cause the pushchair to tip if it swivels side on and you're pushing fast. So can often be picked up for a bargain price on ebay.

I'm afraid I hated running with the baby- for me part of it is getting away and having some me time. Also I found the change of posture difficult to cope with - your arms are sort of fixed and so can't help power you along.

I used a Mountain Buggy urban jungle with the front wheel locked. Great buggy but maybe a dedicated running buggy like the BOB would have been better but they're very expensive.

If at all possible, I would recommend finding extra help to look after the baby instead!
