Physio, Osteo or something else?

I've been doing boot camp style exercise for the last year - high intensity, lots of body conditioning type exercises. My shoulders are now complaining although fine when I'm exercising. What would you recommend to straighten things up?

I carry a lot of stress in the muscles across my upper back and shoulders which isn't helping either so had considered a sports massage but a friend recommended an Osteo so now I'm just confused!

An Osteo is great for sorting out anything that is a one-off. For example, I managed to do something odd to my shoulder and have had three osteo sessions and now I can turn my head again and all is lovely.

However, I'd recommend a physio for anything more long-term or structural. I have dodgy knees so went to a physio to get that sorted and there was an underlying hip issue that required longer term exercises to sort out.

I am an holder of stress in my neck and shoulders and usually keep it under control with yoga and stretching but every now and then it needs a bit of help from the osteo.

Hope that helps.

I'd go for a physio who does acupuncture and massage - that way you'll get a full assessment of your whole body, and then appropriate treatment

Thanks for the advice, now to find someone! I could do with regular yoga sessions I think as well.
