Sports bra?!

I've got a high impact sports bra from asda, that wasn't particularly expensive but thought it would do the job.. But doesn't! I bounce all over the place and ache when I get home from the gym!!

Will going to marks/ spending more money help or am I doomed to bounce forever?!

I'm a 36dd if that helps anyone?!?!?!

It is definitely a good idea to invest in a decent sports bra. I like shock absorber and Freya's sports bra. I'm a runner with huge breasts and I'm BF my DS so I need a lot if support!

Another vote for Shock Absorber.

Going to Marks probably won't help, rarely does in anything bra related. Spending more may well do - IME the bigger the boobs and the more support you need the more you need a proper bra company and not a supermarket or fashion store. Not that 36DD is huge, but add in the sports and it's starting to be a challenge. Smile I agree with Shock Absorber (Run for maximum support, or Max/Level 4 for still excellent support) and Freya, and Panache also do a really good sports bra. The Panache is underwired but surprisingly comfortable - Freya also do an underwired one, which is good but I wouldn't wear it for high impact stuff, it's not quite as padded and comfy as the Panache.

None of them are cheap, but if you can figure out your size with somewhere like Bravissimo or Figleaves that have forgiving returns policies you can move onto Ebay or smaller companies for cheaper ones in future, often in slightly peculiar colour combinations!

I got one in the M&S sale, for about £12, and it's v good. It holds my 32Es with no problem.

I am a DD (or a 30 E according the to bra intervention thread!) and a regular runner, another forum provided me the easiest solution, wear two sports bras! Seems odd at first but really does the trick, no movement/discomfort/tenderness no matter how high the impact (think running, Insanity, Jillian Michaels)

I like Shock Absorber too, but have to go up a band size from my actual size.

Make sure you are wearing the right bra size too - the band size should be the actual measurement in inches under your breasts.
