What can I do???

Ok, I need some advice.
I've lost 3 stone (got another stone and a half to go) dieting and doing exercise. I've noticed a real difference on my legs and arms but I still have a massive spare tyre around my middle. My tummy looks like I'm 8 months pregnant and have a rather unattractive roll of flab around my hips.
Which exercises should I be concentrating on to help shift them? I'm currently running, doing exercise DVDs and doing loads of ab crunches.
Thanks for reading, any advice would be great!

Put sone sprints onto your running! Great fat burners

I've heard that spot reducing is impossible. You have to continue with the exercise - up the intensity eg sprinting whilst running, work up a sweat for more than 30 mins, start lifting weights. I've lost 5 stones and my tummy flab was the last to disappear. It's still not entirely gone even though I'm a good normal BMI.

And continue with your dieting as this will help more than exercise.

I always find swimming tones me up the best.

Horse riding is great for tummy toning

80% of the battle with fat is what you put in your mouth. Keep up with the diet & add in some weights. You'll not beef up but they will speed up fat loss. Too many ladies are scared to lift heavy when in fact we'll never get Schwarzenegger'd as we just don't have the testosterone.

just keep going and your body fat will continue to reduce, sadly you cant influence the area's from which fat is lost.
Dont forget fat is also stored in the abdomen around the organs so it may not just be subcutaneous fat which is making your midsection bigger than you'd like

ilovepowerhoop · 19/06/2013 21:30

try powerhooping - targets the problem areas

Thanks so much for all your advice!
Really appreciate it.
Will keep going with the diet and excercise. I've been using 2lb weights - perhaps I need some heavier ones. Will definitely have a go at some sprints when I go running.
Never heard of power hooping, sounds interesting though......
