Can anyone recommend a brand that's easy to get on a 2.5 year old? Have been struggling with the ones that we've got.

Thanks Smile

As far as I know you are really better to use a woggle ( long tubular float) as they put the child in a bettere swim position , even at that young age. If you would prefer not too ,Zoggs are easy to use , just blow them up after you put you lo's arm through . HTH Smile

Have you got the right size? When they are wet it is easier to put them on. Tip from my old waterskiing days: two drops of shampoo!

We use these DD is out of them now and DS 2.2 is using them and getting along very well in them.

I second the woggle/water noodle suggestion. DS's swimming instructor (he's 3.5 but has been having lessons from 6 months - PFB alert Blush) hates arm bands as she says they give a bad swimming position and it's better to teach confidence in the water than reliance on arm bands. A woggle is better because it is a thing they hold rather than something which holds them IYSWIM.

A woggle curled round in a 'U' shape also supports the arms and head rather than just the top of the arms and is great for teaching kicking on the front and back.

They're about £4 from Toys R Us

ooh, thanks FGMID, they look like a very good idea.
